Jadwa Investment Debuts $200 Million Diversified Private Credit Fund for the GCC
Jadwa Investment, the Riyadh-headquartered investment management powerhouse, has announced the launch of the Jadwa GCC Diversified Private Credit Fund. With a target size of $200 million (SAR 750 million), the fund has successfully marked its first close at over $80 million (SAR 300 million).
Strategic Shift: From Deal-Specific to Blind-Pool
This fund represents a significant milestone for Jadwa as its first blind-pool regional private credit vehicle. Unlike previous deal-specific funds, this structure offers institutional and private wealth investors broader, diversified exposure to the burgeoning private credit landscape across the GCC.
Immediate Deployment and Fintech Integration
Demonstrating strong execution capabilities, capital from the initial close has already been deployed into two strategic investments through partnerships with regional fintech pioneers:
- Lendo
- JeelPay
Two additional transactions are projected to finalize within the first half of 2026, underscoring the fund's active investment pipeline.
Market Context and Leadership Insights
The fund aims to capitalize on the economic momentum within Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, where demand for alternative credit solutions is rising.
- Tariq Al-Sudairy (CEO): Noted that private credit is becoming a strategic asset class for sophisticated investors globally, reflecting Jadwa's ability to originate high-quality opportunities in a high-growth environment.
- Fidaa Haddad (Head of Private Credit): Highlighted that the platform is designed to support robust companies through various transactions, delivering consistent outcomes for investors.
Institutional Stature
With over $30 billion in client assets under management (AUM) across public markets, private capital, and real estate, Jadwa’s launch of this flagship fund reinforces its position as a leading innovator in the Middle Eastern financial sector.
